It was so awesome to see how happy Nick and Errin were as they were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Washington DC temple. It was an amazing experience to be part of. They were just beaming! They fit together perfectly, and I couldn't be more happy and excited for them that they found eachother. I couldn't have found anyone better to marry my brother. Errin is just amazing and I already love her so much.
As everyone was making their way out of the temple to start taking pictures, we experienced an earthquake! It was very surreal. Parts of the temple marble and some of the spiers fell off, and Moroni's head is now crooked. My Mom even had pieces of the overhanging fall on her head! Luckily no one was hurt, and we all went home with some awesome souvenirs ;) Nick and Errin sure have an interesting wedding day story to tell their future kids!
Coincidentally, Errin's parents live about 3 minutes away from my Uncle and Aunt and are even in the same ward! It was great to spend so much time with our family crammed into my Uncle and Aunts house for about a week haha.
We had family scripture study every night, ate some delicious family dinners thanks to my Aunt Daelyn who is an awesome cook, had way too many chocolate covered almonds, watched a bunch of Modern Family episodes on Hulu and died laughing, played Just Dance on the Wii at Errin's house, had some amazing shaved ice and custard at Rita's, did some shopping downtown, had frozen yogurt at 16 handles -yum!, went to a big family dinner at a brewery with both Nick and Errin's sides of the family and ate the BEST spare ribs ever, went to Errin's brother Sean's mission homecoming talk, and of course went to the temple sealing and then their reception afterwards.
We had such a great time! Now Nick and Errin are living in Utah going to school at UVU. I can't wait til I can see them next, which will be mid-October, once Camden is born! :)
